Merremia tridentata

Merremia is a genus of flowering plants in the morning glory family, Convolvulaceae. Members of the genus are commonly known as woodroses.

Uses

Treating haemorrhoids, Swellings, Rheumatic affections, Urinary infections.

Parts Used

Fruits, Flowers, Leaves.

Chemical Composition

Flavonoids have been isolated from the aerial parts of the plant of Merremia genus, species Merremia tridentata (L.) Hallier. f., which include Diosmetin, luteolin–7–o- β–d–glucoside, Luteolin, diosmetin–7–o–β–d–glucoside,[1]
