It is one of the good herbal remedy remedies for hair.

Seed contains anthraquinonesIn commercial extracts,namely; (aurantio-obtusinwhen the plant is hydrolyzed it yields lupeol, chryso-obtusinspinasterol,obtusinacacic acid, chrysoobtusin-2-O-beta-glucosidelactone,physcionand the natural sugars glucose,emodinarabinose and rhamnose. It also contains hexacosanol,chrysophanolspinasterone,obtusifolinoxalic acid,obtusifolin-2-O-beta-D-glucosidetartaric acid, alaternin 2-O-β-Dglucopyranoside)15citric acid, brassinosteroids(brassinolidesuccinic acid, castasterone, typhasterol,teasteroneascorbic acid, and 28-norcastasterone), andmonoglycerides (monopalmitin andmonoolein)16the alkaloids calyctomine and nicotine. Phenolic glycosides such asrubrofusarin triglucoside, nor-rubrofusaringentiobioside, demethylflavasperonegentiobioside, torachrysone gentiobioside,torachrysone tetraglucoside and torachrysoneapioglucoside were also isolated 17<ref name="chemical composition"/>

==How to plant/cultivate==
Plants reach about 3 m height with 3Acacia concinna can be grown from seeds.5 cm stem diameter in 2 years, in 4 years about 5 m height and 7 cm stem diameterThe seedlings can be transplanted. Flowering and fruiting is almost throughout the year, but in India there Seeds are usually two main flowering periods, one pretreated by soaking in the early monsoon and another cold water overnight then sowed in the late monsoonpolybag or beds.<ref name="How to plant/cultivate"/>
